Catherine Kuniyoshi, MD

Dr. Cat is a double board-certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, and their families. She employs an evidence-based and collaborative approach to guide patients and families in reducing negative symptoms and improving functioning and wellbeing. Dr. Cat helps patients achieve their goals with the fewest and lowest doses of medication possible. She supports patients in developing skills and mindsets that lead to long-term improvement.
As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Cat completed 9 years of postgraduate training after earning her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at UCLA. Dr. Cat graduated from medical school at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She completed a 3-year Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Washington and a 2-year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital. Upon graduation, she received the award for Clinical Excellence in Psychiatry. Dr. Cat is experienced in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with a broad range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. She has a particular interest in anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Jon Kuniyoshi, MD, PhD

Dr. Jon is a double board-certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist who works with adolescents, young adults, and their families. He uses an evidence-based, family systems approach in evaluating and treating patients. Dr. Jon supports patients in achieving their goals by improving insight and coping skills in managing difficult emotions and behaviors. He utilizes medications sparingly, as needed.
Dr. Jon completed 13 years of postgraduate training after earning his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of California Santa Cruz. Dr. Jon graduated from medical school at the University of Southern California School of Medicine with an MD and a PhD in cellular immunology. He completed a 3-year Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Washington and then completed a 2-year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Dr. Jon has expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and family systems modalities. He has a particular interest in autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorders, mood disorders and psychosis.

Judy Svann, MSW

Judy completed her Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington. As the Office Manager, Judy fulfils multiple roles including scheduling patient appointments, coordinating referrals and prescriptions, overseeing patient billing, and completing general office duties.
