About


Dr. Catherine Kuniyoshi
Dr. Cat attended UCLA and earned a BS in molecular and cellular biology. She completed medical school at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, receiving her M.D. in 2001. Dr. Cat completed residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Washington and fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Seattle Children's Hospital before entering private practice in 2006. Upon graduation, she received the award for clinical excellence in psychiatry. Dr. Cat is board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, and provides diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and short-term psychotherapy. She enjoys collaborating with patients for an individualized approach to their care. Dr. Cat is experienced in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of emotional and behavioral difficulties, and has a particular interest in anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Judy Svann, B.A.,
Office Manager
Judy is a graduate of the University of Washington - Tacoma. As the Office Manager, Judy fills multiple roles such as scheduling patient appointments, coordinating referrals and prescriptions, overseeing patient billing, and completing general office duties.

Bonnie & Bella
Bonnie and Bella are Dr. Cat and Dr. Jon’s family dogs. The pups often come to the office for playing, visiting, and helping kids feel comfortable. Bella is 7 years old and Bonnie is 3. They are cocker spaniels, so they are friendly girls that love coming to work! When they first meet someone new they are excited, happy, and bouncy, then they settle down and love getting pets and treats.

Dr. Jon Kuniyoshi
Dr. Jon received his BS at the University of California at Santa Cruz. He attended the University of Southern California School of Medicine and obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in 2001. Between 2001 and 2006, Dr. Jon completed both a General Adult Psychiatry residency and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship through the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital. He has been trained in developmental, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems modalities, as well as psychopharmacology and parent consultation. Dr. Jon is board-certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Dr. Jon provides psychiatric consultation and care on a limited basis

New patient evaluation, series of three 60 minute sessions - $600 each session
(This will include a full diagnostic evaluation, communication with other providers, review of records, neurodiagnostic assessments, and written report.) -
Individual psychotherapy or parent consultation appointment: 45 minutes - $400 per session

Medication Management appointment: 45 minutes - $400 per session

Medication Management appointment: 20-25 minutes - $300 per session

URGENT VISITS: 50 minutes - $500 per session
Please note that our office does not accept insurance. Payment is to be made at the time of service. We accept checks, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), debit, or HSA cards.
While our services are considered out-of-network, we encourage you to submit your billing receipt to your insurance carrier for reimbursement, subject to your insurance policy.
We will be happy to explain this process and provide you with the necessary forms.
